CALCULATING SHIPPING COST

  • India Shipping
    • Saroj Fabrics provides “FREE SHIPPING” through-out India on all the items. We ship to all addresses within India free of charge and the order will be delivered to your doorstep with no minimum order value.
    • We process all deliveries preferably through Fedex as our logistics partner. If there is no Fedex service available in your area, we will ship via Government registered India Post.
  • International Shipping
    • Saroj Fabrics delivers internationally / worldwide with Fedex and DHL as our logistics partners (Other shipping carriers are also available on request).
    • The shipping rate will be automatically calculated at the time of checkout. The shipping rate is based on the weight of the selected products and the postal code of the country on a real time basis.

SHIPPING TIME FRAME

  • We strive to deliver products purchased from Saroj Fabrics in excellent condition and in the fastest time possible. In most cases, your order will be processed within 24-72 hours of your placing it. You can expect to receive your order, on average, within 3 - 15 business days of placing the order both for domestic and international orders. When the order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation mail with tracking details. In case the order needs customization, additional days will be required for delivery.
  • An approximate time for shipment has been provided at the time of placing the order; however, these are merely indicative and we shall not be liable to strictly adhere to any such indicative time lines. Products may be shipped either earlier or later depending on availability of product and other factors. In order to get an accurate estimate of shipment time, kindly email the order number.

TRACKING OF SHIPMENT

  • We shall provide details of shipment via email alerts to the customer, once the package is handed across to the carrier agency. The email alerts shall contain the transport/courier agency’s website details along with tracking number and expected date of delivery. The Customer may use the said details to keep a check on status of the package.
  • An approximate time for shipment has been provided at the time of placing the order; however, these are merely indicative and we shall not be liable to strictly adhere to any such indicative time lines. Products may be shipped either earlier or later depending on availability of product and other factors. In order to get an accurate estimate of shipment time, kindly email the order number.

REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF POSTAL ADDRESS

  • Postal address provided by the Customer cannot be changed, if shipment has already left Saroj Fabrics.
  • Additional charges are levied by the courier companies in the case of change of postal address, which will be borne by the client. Customer has to mail us at [email protected] in case of change of address and pay additional charges for the change of postal address as specified by the courier companies.

DELIVERY

  • All delivery deadlines will depend on address details provided and stock being present at time of dispatch. If there are any discrepancies in your order we or the courier company will contact you, so please be sure to provide correct contact numbers with area codes, as well as a valid email address.
  • We will try to deliver all orders received, however if you are not at home, the courier company will contact you at the time of delivery and with your consent, the parcel will either be delivered to a Neighbor, or returned back to the depot. It is your responsibility to collect it or arrange re-delivery at your cost.
  • If a parcel is returned as undelivered we will not offer any refund. If you still require the parcel to be resent a further shipping charge is payable by you.
  • We shall have no liability to you in respect of any delay or failure to deliver a product due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) delay or failure caused by adverse weather, strikes, custom clearances, transport problems, for delays caused by acts or omissions of your details or other regulatory agencies.
  • We are not liable to pay refund for late delivery if the consignment does not have a complete and accurate address, post code and telephone number for the customer.
  • We are not liable to pay refund for late delivery due to delays during taxation clearance process. Or for delays caused by acts or omissions of your details or other regulatory agencies.
  • If any state applies any charges, taxes or duties, it will solely be borne by the customer to pay.

TRANSPORT RISK

  • But we will not be responsible for lost and stolen packages or any full or partial damages to the package after being left at customer's address by postal / courier agency.
  • We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the parcels to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.

TAXES & OTHER CHARGES IF APPLICABLE

  • Taxes & Other Charges are not in our control. Please note that if there are any taxes or duties applicable for the ordered items, it would be billed separately to the customer by the courier company at the time of delivery.
  • The duties and taxes are not part of the customer's payment made to us. You’ll be charged as per the rules of your state government.
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict where they will occur, as policies vary greatly from state to state. They are entirely your responsibility.
  • The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above any taxes as applicable, on case to case basis.

ORDER DELAY / CANCELLATIONS DUE TO DELAY

  • Fabrics/Products are made by artisans, weavers, craftsmen and manufactures across the subcontinent and overseas. Each of the items are carefully made after a series of processes which requires multiple tasks like weaving, dyeing, pattern making, embroidery, etc. Given the complexity in production, occasionally a product may not be produced as per the output expected and so we may seek your approval for. This may result in your order getting delayed.
  • Incase of any change in the quantity or quality or any other variation, if requested by you then we may approach you to cross check again. The time taken for this recheck may delay an order.
  • At any point of time during the order process, order cannot be canceled.
  • In, for any reason, there is going to be a potential delay in shipping because an item is out of stock or if there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail.
  • However any dates for delivery are approximate only and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts. In some cases, we may offer to refund you for unfulfilled part of the order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship to most countries across the world except a few where reliable and consistent courier services are not available. In all International Shipping, the shipping and handling charges are paid for by the Customer while placing the Order. The International Consignments are also liable for applicable customs duties and taxes as prevalent in the respective destinations, and an additional handling charge by the courier company that facilitates the customs clearance. All customs duties/taxes and handling charges at the destination country are payable entirely by the Customer, in case if applicable.
